I am staying here with a girlfriend, who works in liverpool, harrington & manchester. This is where she is based for work.
I am planning on staying here until sat/sun and then heading down to cambridge then onto London to spend christmas here.
I have spent the past three days in Liverpool, Manchester and Chester. Chester being my favourite - small, quaint and interesting, cobble-stone streets, medieval buildings.
I have just come back from chester where i had christmas work dinner with friend and her work-mates. I had seafood fettucine, salad and beer.
It is always kind of hard sitting around a table not knowing anyone, althoug they were all really nice and had good topics of conversation for sewerage scientists - creating fuel out of sewerage, no this was not discussed with food - i am thankful.
Tomorrow i am going to York, which is further back up north. I will have my camera charged by this stage so i will take lots of pictures of the pretty town.
I have booked a hostel there for one night as i think i would like at least a full day or 2 here.
I have decided to go to Paris for New Year........anyone want to join me feel free? i am looking at things to do there at the moment....concerts too see ect. Hahahah i am sure that is not going to happen - but at least i can try, company on new yrs is nice :)

Today i have been looking at galleries and museums, and uploading pictures on these pain-forsackinly slow computer at the library. It is free that is why it might be so slow. (screaming silently)
& and sitting in cafes drinking lots hot beverages! fun & taking lots of photos & walking walking walking.
I have booked my Journey back to NZ, i am due back on 11/12 Jan, for the start of a new era.
I haven't quite figured out exactly what it is i am going to be doing but it will be exciting, fun and unpredictable knowing me. I do have a fair idea but some things are better left a secret until you are 100% sure, therefore you do not look the fool if anything is to happen or not to happen!
Anyways i am really really looking forward to coming home and having a summer and getting a tan and being with the ones i love.
Life is too short it is better to be in love than lonely.
So i have really enjoyed gyspying around the world, but to be honest it is not really my style. Unless i have a goal to achieve other than sightseeing. blah blah blah. You learn these lessons in life; they are healthy positive lessons.
I do have one month left and i will make the most of it. I will spend this time in the Uk.
A month will go really quickly i am sure and everyday will be happy and enjoyable ----------haha i am being really positve lol.
Some photos from my day:

I finally arrived after 17 hours of travel, i arrived with the flu and extremely tired.
I Booked myself into a hostel and just went to sleep.
I was so lucky i had 2 seats to myself on the plane, made up for having no movies to watch.
Three days later i am still tired and have slight cold.
So far i have seen a castle and been to the cemetry and seen a ghost!! scary (it was at night time too!!)
Have seen a few galleries, markets, walked around.
The weather has been really lovely - lots of blue skies and sunshine.
I have also been to the cafe where J.K wrote her first book where they describe her as being a "rude bitch" - but it did make me laugh.............i think if she was on a mission to write her book, fair enough let her be a rude bitch - an extremely rich one if that.
Well here are some pictures - the computer is extremely slow - i do not have all day.
here are a few photos.
Jules - i thought of you when i was in the cafe - as you love the books :)
harry potter cafe
Harry Potter cafe.
Old Town
They even named a street after me!......how nice
i will be staying in a skanky hostel (in reviews they always say that they are decent - but they are always anything but)
But despite this i am really excited! :)
I will be posting photos
I am lazy at the moment!

So, you think you would like to have a skunk as a pet! Before you get your heart set on obtaining a new furry friend, check the state wildlife laws in your area. Depending on where you live, it may be illegal to have a pet skunk. If you're caught with a skunk in these areas, officials can legally take your skunk away from you and kill it! If you do live in a state where you can legally own skunks, don't try to take a baby from the woods and make a pet of it! Most states require you to show paperwork proving where you acquired your skunk, and some even require a permit to keep the animal. Anyone who is selling skunks MUST be USDA licensed - this is the law. Make sure you get a copy of the state permit and license from whoever you buy your skunk from!
Skunks can have a charming personality. They are very curious, and will want to investigate every room in your home... sometimes with destructive results. They are not shy about demanding your attention, and thrive on interaction with their owners. Also, they can be little thieves! They like to steal things they find in your home to make their beds more comfortable, so if you start to miss you socks or t-shirts, check your skunk's bed!
Brilliant...........this makes me want one even more!!
Taking care of a pet skunk is not too different from taking care of a cat. Skunks can be trained to use a litter box like cats do, but respond better to a naturally based cedar or pine cat litter than the clay types. Your pet skunk can eat chicken, tuna, or dog food as part of it's diet. You should supplement with a wide variety of fresh foods such as meat, fruits, vegetables and dairy products.

We are meeting for dinner and then going to see something.
Yah what a cool way to spend friday night.
i really can't wait to see her.........
My friend just got his hair dyed. It looks like it was inspired by the stripe of the skunk.. It is cool as i like everything about that animal.

That pleasant reverie that you entered so innocently, very subtly turned from vision to a dream – and so had to be shattered. Life loves you way too much to let you get sucked in by anything less than the real thing. Sometimes zen comes as a stick and sometimes it comes as a feather.
"How many times do you need to be hammered? How many times do your dreams have to be crushed and shattered? How many times has life to prove that clinging is nonsense? Stop clinging and then you go beyond sorrow."
